Saturday April 21st. Capri Power Forum Annual Lancaster meet, East
Kirkby, Lincolnshire.
MAY
May 6th / 7th (Sun & Mon). Stradsett Park Vintage Rally: Show

Sat / Sun May 12th & 13th. Capri National Show at CCI HQ.
JUNE
June 4th. Stowmarket Queen’s Jubilee Show: Visit www.jubilee2012.org
for full details. From 13:00 to 22:30 Free admission: Stalls, classic
car exhibits, fun fair and large stage for performers, bands and solo
acts. 9½ hours of entertainment culminating in firework display.

JULY
July 8th. King’s Lynn & District Motor Club 35th Classic
Motor Rally: Check their website for details – www.kingslynndmc.co.uk
. The rally will start in the Thetford area (Elveden) and then head
north through the county to lunch at Fakenham Racecourse and on to
finish at the magnificent Holkham Hall close to the north Norfolk
coast.
July 15th. Kimbolton Castle – Sporting Bears Classic Car Show:
Details on the Classic Bears and Kimbolton Castle websites. Last years
show was reportedly the best one of the whole calendar. (Francis from
Capri Power has already sent us an application form. We need to reply
with the approx number of cars attending by 15th April. If you wish
to join in, please let me know before then. Ed.)
July 15th. Cars on the Green, Nowton, (used to be Thurston): Historically
this was a good show, but now the venue has changed!!! It may be subject

July 20th / 21st / 22nd. Weeting Steam Rally: Details and booking

- An old favourite. (Application forms are already on hand. Please
let me know if you need one as it is individual application for each
vehicle. Replies have to be in before April 14th. Ed.)
AUGUST
August 19th. Sywell Airshow: This could be an alternative for Rougham
which is not on this year. Details and downloadable application form

August 26th / 27th. Knebworth Classic Motor Show: Knebworth Park near
Stevenage. Details and downloadable application form can be found

SEPTEMBER
Sept 9th. Flixton Nostalgia Day: www.aviationmuseum.net - This is
(for us) a new venue at a WWII museum airfield near Beccles; and could
become another alternative for Rougham and Norwich Gala. (There are
a couple of possible dates on their events calendar. This was one
of them. I have e-mailed their events manager and he is asking about
numbers. I have provisionally quoted 6 cars. Ed.)
Sept 9th. Seething Airfield Charity Airday: (Between Norwich and Beccles
off the A146). Air display, historic aircraft, military vehicles and
classic car display. WW2 control tower museum. Ex. WW2 USAAF Liberator
bomber airfield now turned into a museum.
Sept 22nd & 23rd. Kettering Vintage Rally & Steam Fayre: 10AM
to 4PM on Sunday. All the usual. Trade stalls, crafts and models tent,
working and static exhibits, displays, birds of prey, fairground rides.
Large selection of classic and vintage vehicles.
